ADHD

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects both children and adults, influencing attention, focus, impulse control, and organization. Individuals with ADHD may experience difficulty sustaining attention, managing time, completing tasks, or sitting still, which can impact school, work, and relationships. However, ADHD also comes with strengths such as creativity, energy, problem-solving ability, and out-of-the-box thinking. With proper support—including therapy, behavioral strategies, lifestyle adjustments, and when appropriate, medication—individuals with ADHD can thrive and build systems that work with their unique brain style. Early understanding and compassionate support make a meaningful difference in helping individuals reach their full potential.

GRIEF & LOSS

Starting on the grief path is overwhelming and your feelings are not organized. You will be having both mental health challenges and physical pain.   By talking to a grief educator or therapist you will be able to get you started on your own path and also give you the tools necessary to successfully understand your feelings and timeline.   Your grief is real, you feelings are real and there is no wrong way of walking your path.

DEPRESSION

Depression can feel like a heavy fog that makes even the simplest tasks feel overwhelming. It often shows up as low energy, loss of motivation, changes in sleep or appetite, and a sense of disconnection from yourself or others. You might feel stuck, numb, or unsure of how to move forward. In therapy, we work together to gently rebuild a sense of purpose, reconnect you with what matters, and create small, meaningful shifts that support healing.

ANXIETY

Anxiety can feel like your mind is constantly racing, filled with worry, “what ifs,” and a sense of being on edge. It may show up physically through tension, restlessness, or difficulty relaxing, even when nothing seems “wrong.” Over time, anxiety can make you feel exhausted and out of control. In our work together, we focus on helping you feel grounded, develop practical coping tools, and build a more balanced and calm relationship with your thoughts.

BIPOLAR DISORDER

Bipolar Disorder is a mental health condition marked by significant shifts in mood, energy, and activity levels. Individuals may experience periods of elevated mood—known as mania or hypomania—where they feel unusually energized, impulsive, or overly confident, followed by episodes of depression that can bring sadness, fatigue, and loss of interest in daily life.

These mood changes can impact relationships, work, and overall well-being, but with the right support, Bipolar Disorder is manageable. Treatment often includes a combination of medication, therapy, and lifestyle strategies tailored to each individual.

At its core, Bipolar Disorder is not a personal weakness or a character flaw—it is a medical condition. With understanding, education, and compassionate care, individuals can learn to recognize patterns, build stability, and lead meaningful, fulfilling lives.

DEMENTIA

Dementia is a general term used to describe a decline in memory, thinking, and reasoning skills that interferes with daily life. It is not a normal part of aging, but rather a condition caused by changes in the brain. Individuals may experience memory loss, confusion, difficulty with communication, and changes in mood or behavior.

Living with dementia can be challenging not only for those diagnosed, but also for their families and caregivers. As the condition progresses, individuals often need increasing levels of support, structure, and understanding.

While there is currently no cure for most types of dementia, early recognition, proper care, and supportive interventions can help maintain quality of life. Compassionate guidance, education, and connection are essential in helping individuals and their loved ones navigate the journey with dignity, patience, and care.

TRAUMA

Trauma is not just about what happened, but how those experiences continue to live in your body and mind. You may notice triggers, emotional overwhelm, avoidance, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others. Trauma can impact how safe you feel in the world and in relationships. Therapy offers a supportive space to process these experiences at your own pace, helping you regain a sense of safety, stability, and empowerment.

WOMEN’S ISSUES

We support women navigating stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, trauma, caregiving demands, and reproductive or postpartum changes. Therapy focuses on strengthening emotional regulation, boundaries, and self trust so you can feel more grounded and aligned with your needs.

This practice is a safe, affirming space to discuss reproductive health and reproductive rights without judgment. Your autonomy, experiences, and choices are respected here.

GENDER IDENTITY

We provide affirming therapy for individuals exploring or navigating gender identity. This includes support around self understanding, transition related decisions, relationships, and family dynamics. If you are considering medical transition or gender affirming surgery, therapy can be a space to explore your goals, questions, and emotions and to support you through that process.

This practice is a respectful, judgment free environment where your identity is honored. Therapy focuses on strengthening self trust, coping skills, and resilience while supporting you in living more fully and authentically.

STRESSORS OF DAILY LIVING

Daily stress is a natural part of life, but when it becomes constant, it can take a toll on both emotional and physical well-being. From work demands and family responsibilities to health concerns and life transitions, ongoing stressors can leave individuals feeling overwhelmed, fatigued, and disconnected.

Learning to live with daily stress doesn’t mean eliminating it entirely—it means developing healthy ways to manage and respond to it. Building awareness of triggers, practicing coping strategies, and creating space for rest and self-care can make a meaningful difference.

With the right tools and support, individuals can strengthen resilience, improve balance, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity. You don’t have to manage stress alone—support, guidance, and practical strategies can help restore a sense of control and well-being.

FAMILY DYNAMIC CHALLENGES

Family relationships can be deeply meaningful, but also complex and, at times, painful. Patterns of communication, unmet needs, or past experiences can create tension, conflict, or emotional distance. You may find yourself repeating roles or feeling misunderstood within your family system. In therapy, we explore these dynamics together, helping you set healthy boundaries, improve communication, and create more supportive and fulfilling relationships
